I came to Edmonds, WA as a refugee during the Serbian Civil War over 20 years ago. Countless 10,000 dinar bills littered the street–they couldn’t even buy your family a bar of soap when I fled with my family.
In these twenty plus years since, I’ve learned English, worked my way through school up to earning my DPT (Doctorates of Physical Therapy) at the University of Washington and have built up a clinic that boasts a stunningly high success rate for our patients alongside my mother, husband and our two daughters.
Our business, Lilly Physical Therapy, is about coming from broken places and healing. About overcoming obstacles and building you up to more than you ever thought was possible.
While not defined by the past, it certainly impacts our business. We are part of the same community and market as other physical therapists in the area, but because of our background, we have a distinct view on how we approach things–of course, this leads to a distinct way we do our business and treat our patients.
I work to blend “old world values” with “new world” advanced technology and practices. That means we call you by your name and treat you like family while guiding you back to health. The business I’m still building is and will always be a place where everyone knows they are wanted and welcomed–that includes you.
This, combined with an insatiable appetite to learn gives us the tools make this the single best place to heal you could hope to find. It’s a place where we don’t just have the expertise to make sure you’re healthy and pain free, but where you know that we care, personally, about you being healthy and pain free.
I have gained a reputation as an expert in producing fast results treating pain, injury, and weakness. I have earned a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from UW, a Master’s Degree in Manual Therapy and have years of experience treating, training and mentoring. I am the author of a soon to be published book on back pain, the creator of a physical therapy education station and the founder of Lilly Physical Therapy, LLC.
Lilly Physical Therapy demonstrates the values of excellence, innovation, team work, loyalty, integrity, and growth to make an impact on the lives my patients. My team and I have won two Patient Choice Winner awards, one Patient Excellence award and nomination for Top Doctors of America award in the last two years.
My special interest is in treating Woman’s Health conditions including pregnancy related issues, sports injury rehabilitation and spinal conditions including back, sacroiliac joint and neck pain. My personal struggles and triumphs given me a unique insight into my patients that few providers can offer.
